Committees

We have seven standing volunteer committees that meet regularly to organize and manage NAIOP events.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in the chapter.  If you are interested in joining a committee, please fill out and fax in the Standing Committees document to the right.

NAIOP also utilizes volunteers throughout the year.  If you have an interest in volunteering, please contact the NAIOP office at (404) 751-2300.


The Standing Committees are as follows:

Communication Committee:
This committee is responsible for creating informative and necessary verbal/written communications for our chapter members utilizing various mediums.

Governmental Affairs Committee:
This committee is responsible for monitoring governmental issues (including legislative action) and creating an awareness of these issues among the chapter membership.
 
Special Events Committee:
This committee is responsible for planning and executing chapter events that are of such nature which extend beyond the normal chapter monthly meeting format:

NAIOP/ACBR Cocktail Party

Sponsorship Committee:
This committee is responsible for raising additional funds for chapter operations through sponsorship of monthly meetings and special events.
 
Programs Committee:
This committee is responsible for planning and executing the programs for all the monthly chapter meetings during the calendar year.
 
Membership Committee:
This committee is responsible for retaining existing members, recruiting new members and promoting involvement among all chapter members.
 
Annual Charity Fundraiser Event Committee:
This committee is responsible for planning and executing NAIOP’s annual charity fundraiser.
