Here’s What You Missed at the NAIOP Georgia Awards

On Thursday, December 5, 2019, NAIOP Georgia held its annual Awards Program at The Whitley Atlanta Buckhead.

Awards were presented for:

Associate Firm of the Year – The Beck Group

Industrial Deal of the Year – Seefried Properties, Inc.

Office Deal of the Year – Cousins Properties

Office Deal of the Year – Cousins Properties

Volunteer of the Year – Highwoods Properties

Volunteer of the Year – Highwoods Properties

And Ferdinand Seefried was the recipient of this year’s Carter/Mathis Award, which is given to a firm or individual who, during the past year has made a single outstanding contribution to the community or throughout their lifetime has made significant contributions to the community. This award is for achievement beyond pure development.

In addition to the awards program, the Keynote Speaker was Kim Bearden, co-founder of the Ron Clark Academy.  Kim’s inspiring remarks were based on her new book: Talk to Me: Find the Right Words to Inspire, Encourage, and Get Things Done.  Attendees were uplifted and inspired, perfect for the season of giving.
